I know there's a solution to those last two, just greedy about my time. Didn't seem to pick up on my CutContour spot color right away, and it wanted to print summa regmark jobs within a second set of summa regmarks. I'm not crazy about the extra massive margins Onyx seems to want on all sides. My issues with Onyx right now are probably all superficial and I just need to dig into it a little more. In an ideal world I come up with a nice CMYKcmkOR ICC profile built in Flexi and keep running the way I have on my Mutoh with the Summa, just for convenience and my limited brain cells. Mostly since I'm used to Flexi I guess, but it seems like the included GammaPrint version must be pretty slimmed down? What's the current Onyx of choice for a single printer shop? Is OnyxGoPlus the same as Onyx21, just one is a subscription and one is a single-purchase? Obviously had to give Onyx a shot since I don't have endless time to let swatches dry, and even found a canned Avery profile that gives good results and doesn't lay down too much ink, but when it comes to the RIP/Cut I'm a little less impressed. So if anyone has even a halfway passable CMYKOR ICC for Flexi that I can tear apart just to see where I've got values wrong, I'd LOVE to hear from you.
However, I can't seem to build myself a decent CMYKOR profile yet, keep getting verrrrry orange skin tones. Would love to use Flexi as that's what I've been using with my Mutoh and Summa already to do roll to roll barcode cutting on lots and lots of short run stickers. Replace MAIN board Assy.Alright, so now that I have the printer (80600) in the shop I am up against two things. Check the connection of HEATER RELAY board. When Carriage lock solenoid is malfunctioning, replace it. When the cables are disconnecting, replace it. (Check if “ON” is displayed when Carriage is locked and “OFF” is displayed when Carriage is moved in “Sen.1: CR Origin” in the selfdiagnosis function.) Make sure to connect it securely. Check the connection of Cover sensor and Maintenance Cover Sensor.
Mover Carriage to see if the values on the panel increases/decreases as follows.Check “Encoder: CR” in “Check3: Test” – “Test5: Encoder” in the self-diagnosis function. When it is too dirty and the adhered substance cannot be removed: Replace T fence. When there is ink on it: Damp a cloth with mild detergent and lightly wipe off the ink. When there is grease or dust on it: Wipe it with a dry cloth.Check if the tensions of CR speed reduction belt and Steel belt are appropriate.Check the connection to CR motor is appropriate.Check the connection of the following connectors.Clean and lubricate CR rail roller guide.
After removing any foreign substances and checking if the printer itself is not damaged, check if the same error still occurs.Set the endurance time to more than 50 times in “Life1: CR Motor” in the self-diagnosis function to see if any errors related to PF motor such as “CR motor error” occurs. Move Carriage from side to side while the printer is turned off and see if there is anywhere Carriage does not move smoothly. Check the error record in “Test 7: Record” in the self-diagnosis function. Check if there is paper jam around Grid Roller or any foreign substances around the range of CR movement. Description: An overload condition is detected in CR motor (Yaxis) during printer operation.
